
Ingredients:
- 750g cubed lamb or lamb knuckles
- 125ml plain yoghurt
- 2 large onions
- 1 potato, chopped Fresh ginger
- 1 tin (410ml) chopped tomatoes
- 60ml olive oil Fresh coriander
- 175ml water
Spice Mix:
- 3 cardamom pods
- 1tsp cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1tsp turmeric
- 1tsp chili powder
- 1tsp ground coriander
- 1tsp ground cumin
- 2tsp garam masala
- 2tsp paprika
- Add all the spices to a small bowl and mix them
- In a large pot add the olive oil, the onions and the spices – once hot, add the lamb and brown the meat
- In a food processor (I did mine in my Nutribullet), add the 2 onions, the ginger and the garlic cloves – and blend them up to a puree.
- Once the lamb is brown, all the onion puree, the tin of tomato, the potato and 175ml water
- Bring this mixture to the boil and place in your Wonderbag for 5 hours
- Once the mixture is cooked and read to serve, add the yoghurt to the pot, mix it and serve on basmati rice with fresh coriander!
- Add salt and pepper to taste
